Cathi Lyons, COT discusses the benefits of the EyeOR suite in the practice on a day-to-day basis. Surgeon efficiency in operating room and clinic while working with patients on the day of surgery is a strong advantage to our practice. Surgeon to patient interaction is fantastic and less formal then the hospital or ASC facilityÉ We control the environment and provide the highest level of personal touch and care. ItŐs a spa experience for our lens-based procedures patients just like with our LASIK practice. Additional benefits are now found in that our staff has increased their level of care based upon the AAAHC guidelines and requirements we have built into our EyeOR facility. The overall operation has increased its level of care to the patient and resulted in a much higher level of care than without the EyeOR procedure room.
